Regulator Rover 12 is an excellent choice for heavy use in dive centers and for divers who demand reliability.
The balanced diaphragm first stage valve uses Mares Tri-material, the second sized stage features a cover made of a flexible material that allows purge button more easily, even when wearing gloves. The latest technologies provide a natural, regular breathing. To minimize maintenance operations, the Rover model can also be combined with the piston first stage R2.

- ALL METAL TECHNOLOGY: The metal second stages have superior performance and are safer than plastic, especially in cold water, thanks to its high thermal conductivity that limits the freezing effect. Other advantages are its greater durability, longer life and less dry mouth breathing.
- VALVE TRI-MATERIAL: Patented technology, conceived and created to optimize performance, safety and reliability. This brass valve is covered with polyurethane rigid and the head has a molecular coating of layers of flexible polyurethane. Technology Tri-material (brass, soft polyurethane and heavy duty polyurethane) reaches a new level of durability.
- DFC DYNAMIC FLOW CONTROL: The DFC system minimizes the intermediate pressure drop during inhalation, allowing the use of a second stage more easily and reliably. There is no need for manual adjustment, thanks to the regularity of the flow from the first stages that guarantees a stable air flow, even in extreme conditions.
- VAD - VORTEX ASSISTED DESIGN: All Mares second stages offer the unique patented VAD system. The bypass tube conveys air to the mouthpiece creating a swirling vortex with a low pressure area in the center that keeps the diaphragm down during inhalation, for very sensitive and easy breathing at any depth.
- Mesh-Grid: The patented mesh design of the second stage cover reduces the pressure of water flowing into the second stage diaphragm and minimizes free-flow. Even in strong currents it eliminates the need to adjust the air supply system to stop the flow: Advanced Technology through basic physics.
